Chapter 1: General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms and conditions aim to define the basic matters regarding the terms and procedures for using the internet services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided by SMALLMACHINES.
Article 2 (Effectiveness and Changes to the Terms)
These terms and conditions take effect upon being announced to users via the service screen or other methods.
The website may modify the content of these terms, and any changes will take effect once announced or notified using the same methods as outlined in Clause 1.
Article 3 (Definition of Terms)
The definitions of terms used in these terms and conditions are as follows:
Member: An individual or organization that has entered into a service usage contract with the site or has been granted a user ID.
Applicant: An individual or organization applying for membership.
ID: A combination of letters and numbers created by the member and approved by the site for user identification and service use.
Password: A combination of letters and numbers created by the member to confirm identity and protect personal information.
Termination: The cancellation of a service usage contract by the site or member.
Chapter 2: Service Usage Agreement
Article 4 (Formation of Usage Agreement)
By clicking the “Agree” button at the bottom of the terms, users are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions.
The usage agreement is established when the site approves the application for service use after the applicant agrees to the terms and conditions.
Article 5 (Application for Use)
To use the service, the applicant must complete and submit the user information required on the site's application form.
All user information entered on the application form is presumed to be accurate. Users who do not provide real names or correct information will not be legally protected and may face restrictions in using the service.
Article 6 (Approval of Application)
The site shall approve applications for service use except in cases outlined in Clauses 2 and 3.
The site may defer approval in the following cases until the reason for limitation is resolved:
a. Lack of capacity in service-related facilities.
b. Technical difficulties.
c. Other cases deemed necessary by the site.
The site may reject applications in the following cases:
a. If the applicant uses another individual’s name.
b. If the user information is falsely entered.
c. If the application is made for purposes that violate public order or morality.
d. If the applicant does not meet other conditions prescribed by the site.
Article 7 (Changes to User Information)
Members must update their information online if there are changes to the information provided during the application process. Members are responsible for any issues arising from not updating their information.
Chapter 3: Obligations of Contracting Parties
Article 8 (Site Obligations)
The site provides the following services to members:
a. Newsletters on new services and domain information.
b. Automatic input of personal information for additional domain registration.
c. Various additional services for domain registration and management.
The site shall not disclose or distribute members’ personal information acquired through service provision to third parties without their consent, nor use it for commercial purposes unrelated to service-related tasks, except in the following cases:
a. When required by national institutions under applicable laws, such as the Telecommunications Framework Act.
b. When requested for investigation purposes related to crimes or by the Information and Communication Ethics Committee.
c. When requested through procedures stipulated by other relevant laws.
The site is obligated to provide services continuously and stably as specified in these terms.
Article 9 (Member Obligations)
Members shall not engage in the following activities while using the service:
a. Fraudulently using another member's ID.
b. Copying, modifying, publishing, broadcasting, or providing information obtained from the service to third parties without prior approval from the site.
c. Infringing on the copyrights or other rights of the site or third parties.
d. Disseminating information, text, or images that violate public order or morality.
e. Conducting activities objectively deemed related to crimes.
f. Engaging in other activities that violate relevant laws.
Members must comply with applicable laws, these terms, and service usage instructions and precautions.
Members must adhere to usage restrictions posted in the site’s service notices or communicated separately.
Chapter 4: Provision and Use of Services
Article 10 (Member ID and Password Management Responsibilities)
Members are responsible for managing their ID and password. The member assumes full responsibility for all consequences resulting from negligence in managing or unauthorized use of their ID and password.
If a member's ID is used fraudulently or if there is a security breach, the member must promptly notify the site.
Article 11 (Service Restrictions and Suspension)
The site may restrict or suspend all or part of the service in cases of national emergencies, such as war, natural disasters, or similar unavoidable circumstances, or due to service interruptions by telecom providers under the Telecommunications Business Act.
When restricting or suspending service under Clause 1, the site shall promptly inform members of the reason and duration.
Chapter 5: Contract Changes and Termination
Article 12 (Changes to Information)
Members may change their information, such as address or password, through the site's member information modification service.
Article 13 (Termination of Contract)
Members may terminate the service usage agreement by submitting a termination request directly through the service, via phone, or online. Upon receipt of the request, the site shall restrict the member’s service use from the date of application.
The site may terminate the usage agreement under the following conditions after providing notice and an opportunity to explain at least seven days in advance:
If the member violates usage restrictions and fails to resolve the cause during the restriction period.
If requested by the Information and Communication Ethics Committee.
If the member fails to respond to legitimate requests for explanation.
If the contract was made using another person’s name, false information, or falsified documents.
Members terminated under the above rules may face restrictions on re-registration for a specified period.
Chapter 6: Liability
Article 14 (Disclaimer)
The site is not liable for members’ inability to achieve the expected benefits from service use or damages arising from the selection or use of service data.
The site is not responsible for service disruptions or data loss caused by members’ negligence or third-party intentional acts.
The site assumes no responsibility for the content of materials posted or transmitted by members.
For domains with trademark claims, the member is responsible for any resulting damages or liabilities, and the site is not accountable for such issues.
Article 15 (Jurisdiction)
In the event of disputes between the site and members regarding the service, the competent court shall be the court governing the site’s headquarters.
